We're thrilled to announce our latest partner site - Sherwood Pines near Kings Clipstone, Nottinghamshire, within the historic Sherwood Forest region.

One of the Midland’s most well-known forests, Sherwood Pines creates a scenic woodland environment. Its extensive path network and varied habitats support wildlife and provide the perfect opportunity for nature exploration. It truly sets the scene for a great day out for all, with a Tramper route to suit everyone!

There is a Tramper Permitted Area around the Visitor Centre, which gives access to the play areas, large grassed areas (including disc golf) as well as giving viewing points for Go Ape and Pedal and Play.Ā Archer's Stroll offers a gentle, all weather, surface trail, which is perfect for families. Maid Marion's Cycle Trail is a longer Tramper route, offering the opportunity to explore the forest and its mixture of trees. Take a well deserved break at one of the picnic tables along the way! Castle Walk is an unsurfaced trail, which takes you through a rich mixture of forest habitats. A more challenging trail on the Tramper, it includes sections which are off camber and steeper gradients, as well as rougher sections with exposed roots.

If you are feeling a bit peckish after adventuring around the forest, why not drop in to the Sherwood Pines CafƩ for a range of locally sourced snacks.

Two Trampers are available to book daily, at 9am or 1pm. Please note, Forestry England at Sherwood Pines will charge an additional £3/hire administration fee for the Tramper. This is payable on-site.
