Third Route now available at Grizedale Forest

A third route for the Tramper has been made available at Grizedale Forest. The Millwood Trail takes the Tramper user North from the visitors centre. After passing the Ancient Forester Sculpture the trail continues on into the forest under the Go-Ape. After watching the Go-Aper's in the trees you continue up stream through quiet woodland. The trail loops around giving access to the forest on good gravel paths with one steep section and one cambered section to negotiate.

Forestry England have installed a new bridge at the furthest point of the Trail to make this part of the Forest accessible to the Tramper. This wonderful investment is helping to build a great selection of different trails here for our members to choose from.
