Exciting news from the central Lake District. Wray Castle National Trust has a new Tramper and a fantastic route. The first booking slots are available from the 10th February 2024.

The Tramper can be booked for two hours at a time and is available twice a day at 10:00 and 13:30. The circular route takes you from the Castle, down to the beautiful shores of Windermere, past the boat house and back up, through woodland and pasture, to the Church. From here you return to the Castle with it's magnificent views towards the Langdale Pikes.

National Trust admission charges apply (admission free to National Trust members).

There is a café at Wray Castle for before or after your visit.

This is a really wonderful addition to Outdoor Mobility and we can't wait to get your feedback after you have used it.

You can see more details, the route map and book a session at www.outdoormobility.org/wray-castle

It is fantastic to see Wray Castle added as a new Tramper site! This makes exploring the stunning grounds and lakeshore paths of this gothic revival castle much more accessible for everyone. It is a wonderful way to open up such a historic Lake District location for all to enjoy!

And when I take a quick break, I usually just check out inat tv indir since it’s simple and quick to use.
