Four people, one using the Tramper, travel on a gravelled path, with Lowther Castle visible in the background. The sky is clear with scattered clouds.

We're absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of a new Tramper at Lowther Castle and Gardens, near Penrith. With dramatic ruins, beautiful gardens, an adventure playground to rival the best in the land and stunning Lake District views, Lowther has so much to offer.

A Tramper launch day will take place on Thursday 23 October with the chance to test out the new Tramper alongside one of the Lowther team. Go ahead and book a 1:1 guided trip down to the river and back, with the opportunity to learn more about Lowther Conservation whilst getting to grips with the Tramper. 1 hour sessions are available from 9:30am. Find out more and book at Lowther Castle and Gardens Tramper Hire | Outdoor Mobility

These sessions can be booked for free if you aren't already an Outdoor Mobility member, using voucher code LowtherLaunch.

With free coffee and cake on offer (voucher provided with booking) as well as free parking (attendees to provide reg in advance to Lowther Castle) it's an opportunity not to be missed!

Email us at info@outdoormobility.org if you have any questions about the event.

With huge thanks to Avanti West Coast’s Customer & Communities Improvement Fund for the funding of this new Tramper site. The fund aims to support schemes along the Avanti West Coast route, which will bring benefits to the stations and the communities surrounding them.
