High Force Waterfall - 'Spectacular!'

In the Upper Teesdale countryside lies this magnificent and powerful High Force Waterfall. It is a true spectacle to see the tumbling white water and hear it's tremendous roar.
Our new Tramper route takes you from High Force Hotel (where a ticket to the falls must be purchased) down through the beautiful woodland to a path contouring above the river Tees. As you travel further up stream you will first hear the noise of the waterfall, then glimpses will appear between the trees, before it's full spectacular appearance in revealed!
The return trip is 1.2km and there are post Tramper refreshments available at the High Force Hotel.

Seeing High Force in person is a truly breathtaking experience, and it's great to hear it described as spectacular! The sheer power of the falls and the surrounding North Pennines scenery make it a must-visit landmark. It is wonderful that more people can now experience such natural beauty firsthand!
