We just had to share this image from Whinlatter that was sent to us by a Tramper user - what a joyful picture it is!
It shows Anita and her 'canine grand-daughter' Maggie, a nine-month old Working Cocker Spaniel, enjoying the forest. Anita described the day as 'very liberating' - being able to travel at a 'decent speed' and see the fantastic views.
Maggie works with Anita's daughter Rosie, an Outdoor Learning Teacher. So she's a dog who deserves a bit of down time! Dogs are welcome at Whinlatter - forests are great spaces for them to enjoy. Just follow the Forest Dog Code, and remember that if your dog does need to be on the lead at any time, Tramper uses should not be in control of a pet on a lead (registered Assistance Dogs permitted) or carry an animal on the Tramper.
We love to get pictures like this - it's great to see the fun that people are having outside on our Trampers. Do get in touch if you have one to share!
