Congratulations to our friends at Anyone Can and Calvert Lakes for being shortlisted in the Cumbria Tourism Awards!
They're finalists in the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award category of the awards, which celebrate the best of Cumbria's tourism economy.
They're both fantastic organisations making accessible adventures possible - Anyone Can's primary watersport base is at Fell Foot, where we're getting ready to launch a new Tramper service. The awards recognise quality, service, and visitor care - during one of the most challenging times for the tourism industry.
We're committed to increasing access for everyone to our beautiful area and all the adventures that it has to offer, and we're very proud to have 'neighbours' like Calvert Lakes and Anyone Can who are working towards the same goal. At Lake District Mobility, we've worked closely with Cumbria Tourism on the Accessible Cumbria conference that we held in 2019 - before Covid - with the goal of encouraging more accessible tourism provision in the Lakes.
Full details of the awards can be seen at Cumbria Tourism's website here.
