It is with great pleasure that we announce the latest addition to our Tramper network – Floors Castle – ‘the gem of the Scottish Borders’. Situated a short distance away from the picturesque, cobbled town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders, Floors Castle is the centrepiece of the beautiful Roxburghe Estate, constructed over 300 years ago for the 1st Duke of Roxburghe. With lots to see, it is a perfect day out for all ages. 

The Tramper gives access to the beautiful walled gardens with a traditional fruit and vegetable growing area, the produce of which is used in the Castle’s cafes, as well as the less formal Tapestry Garden with its meandering grass paths and a wonderful play area. From the Walled Gardens, you can also access the lovely formal Millennium Garden. This is a French style Parterre created to commemorate the millennium. ​

​The Castle Grounds route takes a tour of the grounds around the Castle. You will pass through magnificent woodlands leading to fantastic views of the Castle from the south and the parkland running down to the River Tweed.

Floors Castle is providing an amazing introductory offer to those who make a Tramper booking – with two Adult Garden and Grounds complimentary admissions! Certainly, an opportunity not to be missed.

The Tramper is available to book daily, at 11am or 2pm, for a 2 hour session.
