Walled Garden Route - The Tramper gives access to the beautiful walled gardens with the traditional fruit and vegetable growing area, the produce of which is used in the Castles cafes as well as the less formal Tapestry Garden with it's meandering grass paths and a wonderful play area. From the Walled Gardens, you can also access the lovely formal Millennium Garden, this is a French style Parterre created to commemorate the millennium.

Castle Grounds Route - This route takes a tour of the grounds around the Castle, you will pass through magnificent woodlands leading to fantastic views of the Castle from the south and the parkland running down to the River Tweed. The route does have some rougher sections of gravel as well as a steep hill. The route can be taken in either direction but if you prefer to take the steep hill going up hill then please take the route in a clockwise direction.
