It gives us great pleasure to introduce the amazing team of Tramper ‘buddy’ volunteers now available at Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
The team is on hand to accompany those members without a Tramper companion wishing to hire a Tramper at the fantastic Sutton Bank National Park Centre. Users must be accompanied for safety reasons – to ensure someone is available to seek assistance in the event of an emergency.
The buddies are happy to walk and talk with you or just be at a distance if you prefer, to allow you to call on them if needed.
A buddy can be requested through Outdoor Mobility or directly via Sutton Bank Centre by calling 01845 597426. If you intend to visit Sutton Bank unaccompanied, please make sure to arrange a buddy before making your Tramper booking. Buddies are subject to availability so please give as much notice as possible, to avoid disappointment.

The team look forward to welcoming you!

Precise timing makes Speed Stars both challenging and satisfying. You move your runner through rhythmic inputs. The pace increases gradually as you race forward. Mistakes cost valuable momentum. You must stay consistent throughout each run. Smooth runs feel incredibly smooth. Practice improves your rhythm.
