The Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park, near Ripon in North Yorkshire, is a treasure trove of art and nature. Set alongside the permanent collection of 90 sculptures, over 100 new pieces have been selected, to further enhance the landscape.

The ongoing ā€˜Sculptures in the Landscape Exhibition’ is a seven-month showcase, where contemporary art is integrated into the 45 acres of striking woodlands and gardens.

The 2026 exhibition introduces new sculptures to enhance the natural setting, aiming to inspire and challenge audiences of all ages. This year's exhibition has an international flavor, featuring works from Hong Kong, America, Armenia, and Spain. Pieces range from figurative to abstract, utilizing various materials such as recycled compressed polystyrene from Hong Kong's fish markets, wheat grass root heads, forged steel, ceramics, and glass.

Sculptures on display in the garden this year also include 9 large pieces from the Michael Lyons collection. Michael was a founding member of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Vice-President of the Royal British Society of Sculptors.

With so many great things to seeĀ amongst the beautifully planted woodland gardens and lakes, it offers the perfect location for a summer's day out. The Tearoom is located close to the garden entrance and offers delicious hot and cold homemade food, drinks and delicious, sweet treats.Ā
