Our founding trustee, Ruth Kurkal, has stepped down from her role. Her drive was instrumental in getting Lake District Mobility up and running and we are very grateful to Ruth for her hard work and support. She has been part of growing LDM for 3 years and 8 months and is now helping growing new ventures.
With great privilege we welcome Lorrainne Smyth, the Chief Executive of Voluntary ACTion Cumbria, as our newest trustee. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the voluntary sector in Cumbria. We are very much looking forward to working with her.
HERE’S WHAT LORRAINNE HAD TO SAY ABOUT HER LATEST ROLE:
“Having worked with LDM as it was forming I was motivated to be involved as a volunteer because I believe that everybody can benefit from access to the great outdoors. LDM’s work to provide simple, low cost access for families and others to be in the outdoors together is a small, but vital quality of life and wellbeing ingredient. I have always been involved in volunteering with organisations that work with people with disabilities. I hope to bring my experience and skills from working with community organisations for over thirty years to the internal, governance and business planning elements of LDM’s work.”
This was a thoughtful and informative post, especially in the way it highlights personal experiences and the value of staying connected with others.I found the message easy to follow and genuinely engaging.I recently came across https://gocollectiv.com/ while reading a similar discussion, and it offered an interesting perspective on related experiences. Thanks for sharing such a meaningful story.
Failing near the end of a challenging section can be annoying, but finally completing it makes the effort feel worthwhile. fnf
I love how Dinosaur Game rewards quick reactions without complicated mechanics! Running, jumping, and ducking may sound simple, but combining these actions at higher speeds creates a surprisingly demanding test of focus and timing!
The game Geometry Dash Lite has clean, geometric visuals that are vivid and vibrant. The gameplay is more engaging and exciting since each level has its own unique design and visual effects. Even as the tempo rises, the fluid animations aid players in keeping their attention on the action.
