Gemma and Jacobs help us work smarter as demand for Trampers grows

We told you this spring about Gemma Goulding and her work in the community during last summer's covid lockdown. As recognition for her efforts, her employer - Jacobs, gave a generous donation to a charity of her choice - us! Earlier this week, Julia met with Gemma, as we are now very lucky and grateful to receive a further donation from her and Jacobs.

This support comes at a time of growth for Lake District Mobility. As the country has been finding its way out of lockdown, the demand for our Trampers has increased with more and more of you enjoying the benefits of outdoors. At the same time, more outdoor venues have been asking us to set up a Tramper hire with them. We have big ambitions for Trampers and are hard at work to develop new hire sites and the tools and systems we need to meet this growing demand. The funding from Gemma and Jacobs is helping us right now to improve our website to make it easier for you to become a member and book a Tramper. It's also helping us create better materials to tell more people about Trampers.

We are super excited for Lake District Mobility's future and for this stage of growth. We look forward to telling you more about all the new developments and how we are making more of Cumbria's amazing places accessible. Support from Gemma and Jacobs is vital in helping us make this happen. Thank you!
