Trella, our administrator, and her son Leo took advantage of the February half-term and went to Whinlatter for a little Tramper adventure. Leo was in charge of the camera, and we’ve posted their family video below for you to see what happened *
In the meanwhile, here are Trella’s top tips for a successful Tramper adventure:
Just go for it! The Tramper controls are super easy to use and the staff at Whinlatter are very knowledgeable and helpful in making sure you are safe and know what you are doing.
Make sure you wrap up warm. And then add a few more layers! Remember your hat and gloves and wear your thick socks.
Don’t forget to stop and admire the views.
Warm up afterward with a nice hot cuppa at the café or bring a flask with you. The café caters for all manner of dietary requirements (they do a banging plant-milk hot chocolate).
