Our network is expanding with a new Tramper at Keldy Forest in the North York Moors.
There are two new routes on offer. A shorter route around the local trals, close to the centre, which takes in beautiful mixed forest and is wonderfully peaceful. The longer route takes you through the forest, and across open farmland to Cropton Forest (another of our hire site locations). Here there is a café/restaurant where you can take refreshments before your return trip.
The routes give you the opportunity to see lots of fantastic flora and fauna, with the forest being a magnet to a huge number and variety birdlife. The forest itself is a Forestry England woodland which also has lodges and cabins operated by Forest Holidays. The forest paths are available for the public to enjoy, with the Tramper being picked up from the Forest Holidays reception.
