The Ladies Group at High Harrington Community Centre makes regular donations to local charities and projects.
Lake District Mobility was one of their beneficiaries this year, alongside West Cumbria Hospice at Home and Deborah Fox Goodie Bags for Patients of Henderson Suite.
All three received a cheque for £500 in support of their work at a coffee morning at the Community Centre in September.
This donation from the Ladies Club, and others like them, allows us to improve and enhance what we do.
Lake District Mobility will be using the Ladies’ Club’s donation to make a short film to showcase our work in a professional and easily accessible manner. We are thrilled of this opportunity to tell more people about what the Lake District Mobility can offer to individuals and encourage more sites to offer the Tramper scheme to their visitors.
